I've just bought the POS and I'm in the phase of setting it up. I would like to do some test transactions, but I'm afraid that I won't be able to delete them again. I suppose I can do that in the Database, but I don't have the password.
Can I copy the database first, do test runs and then put the backup back in place?

Yes, you can do as you described: backup database and configuration files. Then you may restore it (copy it back).
