Getting started

Welcome to using Abacre Photo Editor!

This Quick Start Guide is intended to help you get started with Abacre Photo Editor.  If you don't like reading manuals, or don't want to use all features of Abacre Photo Editor, or just want to give Abacre Photo Editor a test run, this is a good place to start.

Here you'll find step-by-step instructions on how to use Abacre Photo Editor to achieve a simple (and, probably, most common) goal: how to correct your digital photo.  After you have performed the steps described below, you will be able to correct any of your digital photos less than one minute without using all features of Abacre Photo Editor.

Step-by-step editing:

1. First of all you need to load your image.

2. Advanced user may use Manual edit mode to tune digital photos, novice users may use Wizard edit mode. If you wish to make complex operations with your photos, you may use Batch convert mode.

3. After corrections have been made, click Apply button to accept changes or Undo button to discard changes.

4. That's all! Now you can save your photos, or print it. Also, you can Preview it on full screen mode by clicking Preview button.

Using Manual edit mode

In this mode you may adjust filter parameters manually. Use this mode for more exact color adjustment of your digital photo.

Using Wizard edit mode

Wizard mode is a very simple way to correct color spectrum of your digital photo images!
It is very simple to work with! APE offers to choose the most you liked image and according to your choice automatically corrects color spectrum of the source image. Also you can choose a filter manually, and process your image in Manual edit mode.

Using Batch convert mode

The Batch convert mode lets you play an action on a big number of files. If you have a digital camera or a scanner with a document feeder, you can also import and process multiple images with a single action.
