permission discount
I don't want waitress or cashier to be allowed to discount how to can get permission or hide this option for account cashier

The situation is the following.
You may disable discount related fields and buttons:
go to menu Configuration - Preferences - Order - Order buttons.
uncheck Show Discount field option.
We have advanced security roles management. See menu Configuration -
Security Roles.
This there is no corresponding security for showing discount actions.
We recorded it as a request feature into To-Do list.
We will send you email upon completion.
