Finding paragraphs with in Microsoft Word

I am having trouble with the Text to Find function under the Replace tab when I look for paragraphs in Microsoft Word. I am using Control C and V to copy and paste. When I try to find in the Find tab in Search Query, I am able to find the document. Please help! I have 432 documents to change.
