I'm searching for ?/n where I'm looking for the literal question mark, not a wild card, and get the error:
Error during compilation of regular expression (row number 1):
"Search For" part?+*{Follows Nothing (pos1)
Please correct syntax of this regular expression.

email sent.  It seems the problem is I can't check a "regular expression" box like I can in Find or Batch Replace.  If I use a single line in Batch Replace it seems to work OK.

Using trial version. Using the test1.txt file I can find \n and there are 20 occurrences. When I try to replace \n with eg: xx nothing happens and the bottom window of the replace screen is blank. Choosing type=native or regular doesn't make a difference. Using type=native and searching for vist and ...
