Using ALA for pay per click advertisers

If you are company that uses Google AdWords, Yahoo! Sponsored Search or any other pay per click advertiser, then you should definitely be using our analyzer.

Say for instance you use referrer IDs:

http://www.yoursite/yourproduct/?source=google

In order to analyze which keywords are used by your visitors from Google AdWords, you need to add the following filter to your reports:

filter= uri_query;includes;source=google

Please try opening the reports.ini file with a text editor and copy/paste this report:

type=search_phrases
name=Search Phrases from Google AdWords
filter= uri_query;includes;source=google
limit=50
percentage=true
sortby=value
show_table=true
show_chart=false

To see a list of all referrer IDs you would use this report:

type=basic
name= Referrer IDs report
param=uri_query
limit=10
percentage=false
pagesonly=true
sortby=value
show_table=true
show_chart=false
